Description
This course is recommended for all AAFC staff, but it is mandatory for all Science and Technology Branch (STB) management and staff directly involved in the delivery of science activities.
When it comes to science, the right course of action is not always clear. This course will give you a renewed awareness of the importance of integrity and transparency in public sector research.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
- Explain the relationship between values and ethics, science integrity, and science ethics
- Identify when a situation might cause ethical concerns
- Locate resources to help guide ethical decisions
- Know when to consult the appropriate people or committee for guidance on research and publications
