Description
The AAFC Grants and Contributions Training series includes an overview of program delivery, from program design to project closure. Training reinforces Government of Canada and AAFC Policies, Directives, and Processes.
Training is designed to build on that foundation by expanding on the AAFC Operations Guide (Ops Guide) and associated guidelines and directives, providing hands-on learning experiences. Learners are given opportunities to ask questions and discuss ideas in an open and collaborative environment through facilitator lead sessions and self-guided pre-course materials.
This training series includes the following courses:
- Introduction to grants and contributions
- Apply and assess in grants and contributions
- Recipient and Project Risk Management Framework (RRMF)
- Award – funding agreement
- Official languages and grants and contributions
- Administer a grants and contributions project
- Audit and acquit grants and contributions
- Understanding the funding cycle
Note: The courses should be taken in the order above where possible.
