Description
To meet the requirements of the Official Languages Act when handling grants and contributions, Programs Branch has produced an official languages assessment tool and guide to be included as part of all project assessments. This course is delivered in partnership with the Official Languages team from the Corporate Management Branch.
After participating in this course, you’ll be able to:
- Understand projects in the context of Part VII of the Official Languages Act
- Use the tool as a way of documenting their assessments
- Determine if there are any positive measures that can and should be included in project work plans and budgets
This course is the fifth in AAFC's Grants and Contributions Training series, which includes an overview of program delivery at AAFC, from program design to project closure and audit.
