Description
Finance is an important aspect of the grants and contributions life cycle. In this course, you’ll learn about financial management for fair decision making and successful program delivery. You’ll also cover the financial and business analysis of repayable contributions, relevant sections under the Financial Administration Act, segregation of duties of federal government employees related to the financial roles, and claims verification process.
After participating in this course, you’ll be able to:
- Explain expenditures cycles, including financial forecasting and budgeting
- Explain how funds are obtained through the program development process
- Understand how funds are spent and the authorities under the Financial Administration Act
