Description
This session will be delivered in a hybrid model:
- To attend via MS Teams, register for the “Virtual” session.
- To attend in person at the Mikinàk Ceremonial Lodge, register for the “In-person” session. In-person attendance is limited.
This session examines Inuit history, culture, and perspectives. The course is offered by the Indigenous Support and Awareness Office (ISAO).
This session will focus on:
- Inuit history
- Governance
- Language
- Arts and culture
- Demographics
- Land claims
The session runs approximately 2 hours but may run over for further discussion on topics.
This course is part of the Indigenous Awareness Learning Series at AAFC.
