Description

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) promotes a work environment that is safe, healthy, respectful and violence-free for all employees. Under the Policy Committees, Workplace Committees, and Health and Safety Representatives Regulations, we must provide training to all Workplace Occupational Health and Safety Committee (WOHSC) members and representatives.

This training is required for all WOHSC members to learn tips and all required information to conduct regular workplace inspections.

Topics include:

  • Workplace OHS obligations and duties
  • Methods of identifying health and safety hazards
  • Different types of inspections and hazards
  • Procedure for completing a workplace inspection
